A guy on MySpace was promoting his music and it was nothing but slangs and misspelled words. It made my reading level drop because of that (not in general). |

lol, you guys must not have to deal with it in person as much as i do. hell, i have a friend who always used the word "prune" when he meant "prude". it's funny to hear someone say that we americans are a bunch of prunes, but at some point i did have to correct him |

I only find it a little bit disturbing when someone is trying to represent how they are.
Ex) I'm inteligent. I have emailed people to politely inform them how to spell intelligent only because I thought it was the kind thing to do. But yes, when one is trying to convey (or fake) some "type" of persona/intellect they should clearly be aware they need spell check, well I just take it as it is. They may be just unaware mentally, and "Tryin it". Doesn't bother me, they don't butter my bread... or something like that

no, trust me... he heard me say prude and thought it was a great word, but he apparently heard wrong funny situation and i let him rant on several times while laughing to myself the education system in this area was very poor for quite a while |
