Greetings everyone from Rock Hill. And Amberdee.....I am a yankee. Was transplanted here almost eight very long years ago, and it was very hard for me to get used to saying "ya'll". As a matter of fact, I didn't start until about three years ago. It was always yous guys, or youns.....

Ha ha! It really does happen when you least expect it.

I'm a yankee! From NY, but I've been in SC for about 2.5 years so I guess that counts. Oh yeah, I did live in Greenville for 4 years in the late 90's before I went back to NY for another 4 years and now the Charleston area.

Yeah, crept up on me when I didn't expect it to. Was talking to a family member still up north and her response when I said it was "what the heck did you just say? what has happened to you down there?"
now apparently I am the country girl in my family lol |
