If you have kids, try welfare for assistance. Salvation Army may help. Churches will help out too with emergency assistance as a one time help, you don't have to belong to their church either, you may have to ask several churches as they may only give small amounts, but I would start making phone calls. If there is a Community Action Council in your area, ask them, they help people here with emergency help.

Just a few thoughts. How about parents/relatives???

I'm so sorry this happened to you......They have those money lending places that gives you advances and you have a few weeks to pay it off but, they charge fees too which sucks but, they have to make money too. Again, I'm really really sorry about your situation......I feel really bad for you....

Most of those loan places charge upwards of 599% (you read that right) interest. You'll need a checking account, a job, and proof of residence. (Electric bill, phone bill, cable bill, etc). Be very cautious in using one of those places.

But if all else fails, a lemonaide stand isn't a bad idea.
