Can someone please explain to me why, when a man wants t be single, women make it their mission to get them a girlfriend or boyfriend (trying to be open minded lol)? I have chosen to remain single until I am ready to start dating, and my sisters an my cousin keep trying to hook me up with some friend or family that they know is seeking! Is it really that hard to acept that some people just do not want to be hooked up? My roommate is 30 and single and they don't pester him

Have you ever noticed that people that aren't single want single to people to not be single? Makes them feel better when someone else is miserable too!

maybe in their mind they are just trying to look out for you not realizing that you are truly want to be single until you make the choice to date again??

Maybe its because he's not as cute as you. aww you're making me blush My roommte is quite attractive though, I think they just like to pester me. I'm hoping I made my point today when they started on me again. I told my cousin I really do not want to be "hooked up", when I am ready to date I will say so.

It always seems when you want to be single, everybody wants to hook you up with somebody. Then when you are single and looking for somebody NO ONE wants to hook ya up with somebody. Go figure..

The problem with other people trying to hook you up is they set you up with their friends/family which most often are not the type of people you want to date in the first place.

I prefer to be single, but apparently other people have different ideas. I am happy being single, but I am never happy in a relationship. I just haven't found that person that fits me yet.
