Most people that are happy in a realtionship think they are helping by trying to hook you up with someone. They are happy and they want you to be happy.

But in the end its up to the person to find out what makes them happy.

I have the same issue, after my last break up with my ex-girlfriend everyone under the sun (that was left up my friends that didn't abandon me) was trying to hook me up with someone, and I just wanted to be left alone.

Here it is two years later and I still want to be left alone (I think).

As for your roomate...thats just it he a roommate not family.

Just my thoughts.

I just wish they'd get the idea that they are hurting me more than helping me, as I do want to be single. It bothers me that they seem to think I'm just saying that, but it's true.

This may not be true of all single people and I do hope they find what they are looking for.

My roommate is pretty much family I've known him for 18 years and trust me he's the best friend I have ever had. My sisters consider him the other brother lol.

Oh they've accepted it.

But they're your sisters.
