Topic: What's up with that? | |

Hey everyone! I'm 21, and I've noticed that a lot of people my age have no ambition in life! All they want to do is go out and drink and party! They're not going to school and are in dead-end jobs that they consistently complain about! I ask them what they want to do with their life, but they always say they have no clue and that alcohol solves everything. What happened to ambition?

Seriously! It just sucks cuz I live in kind of a small town and there's not really any way to meet people.

Ambition is dead, ignore them all, finish college and then get a career and then find someone.

I'm actually working on being self employed within the next five years. I plan to own a music studio. Along with the music studio, I plan on having some other small online businesses. |

Because life is toooo easy nowdays. Money comes easy, food and shelter are easy, everything comes in an "instant" version. Sitting around just being content is enough for too many people. Don't be sucked into that trap. Make the world a better place. Keep your ambition. |

When I was 21 I had no ambition either. Your early twenties are kinda all about that. Do I want to go to college? Do I want to get a job? Do I want to get up before noon today?
Sounds to me like you're mature beyond your age, and that's something to be proud of. You have a good head on your shoulders. Don't let anybody pressure you into being something you're not. I know I never let my friends pressure me into drugs, ect. and today I own a house with a great job and two beautiful kids. My friends? let's just say they don't. Keep your chin up and eventually you'll find some normal people. Don't be afraid to try new things or go to new places. You'll be fine, chick-a-dee! |
