I prayed to this God for over 40 years a very simply humble and unselfish single prayer that wasn’t even for me. And it was never answered in 40 years. The man clearly lied. Obviously he was a sinner just like everyone else.

well "yellowrose10" it's nothing wrong with having beliefs because belief is just a thought that can't be proven beyond the mind and/or faith but once people start claiming their beliefs are being truth and then killing others that don't agree with their beliefs is where the problem arise




the problem is that when it comes to religious beliefs it makes you both right and that is how holy wars get started

your belief is truth to you. no one should be judged or put down because they don't believe in the same.

i form opinions but try to understand why.

i can respect what people say if it's how they think or feel. just because i may not agree or like it...doesn't mean i can't respect it for the fact that's how they believe.

Well that explains alot.....and have you ever really thought or seen the reason why it may not of been answered....Because sweet abra it is not if we want it, but rather if God sees it right to answer.....And I know for me I have had all prayer except one answered......Do I get mad and claim him to be a fake....nope.....I know that in God's time is what it is. That if he has not answered there is a reason....which also will be revealed. And most likely for the good all around that he didn't answer right away.

No matter how you sugar coat the above and say no emotions were involved....It's impossible to pray for 40 years as you claim with no emotion.....and who were you praying to the God that you now hate? The one you feel betrayed you and made you look for other answers. And the simple fact is abra without faith your prayers will never be answered and this in no way makes God, or Jesus a lier....it just is. And Jesus never sinned not even once.

it's to many question that pop up to give a response...for instance ..aasuming you went to the church because they had the same belief as you then why would you protest what they believe just because you didn't like the sermon that day since what they believe is that same as you belief
