Why do you think it becomes so much harder to find a relationship when a person gets older?

im 18 and have trouble...i dont think it matters what age ya are

i agree i think when you get older you just become more picky

Age definately makes a difference. The choices are fewer, as many more people our age are married or in LTR's. We've also been burned, hurt, or just failed miserably at relationships and tend to be more cynical.

I think this question could be discussed until the end of time.

The older we get and the more relationships we have, the more we realize what we don't want. We imagine what we do want, but rarely to we take the time to figure out what we NEED and prioritize those needs.

Sometimes the older we get, the more likely we are to settle for a relationship that we think we want or just enjoy the idea of being with someone far better than being alone.

Maybe we are hurt or jaded from bad experiences and we become picky or cynical because we are too scared to let it all go and jump in feet first, eyes open, and with a healed heart.

I know that sometimes, even when you think you're looking, you're not. I did that. And then I opened my eyes, healed my heart, and jumped in feet first.

...and apparently hit me feet first in the chest! I'm still having a hard time breathing...

it could be that the hair moves from the head to the ears nose and eyebrows......

I guess for me, I found my comfort zone of being happy being independent and having the freedom to do what i want when i want!!!

Hmmm...I'm older..but this has not happened.

Not to mention.. when I was younger, I dated less then I do now. My wife would have killed me! She could hit a half dollar at 250 yards with an open sighted Winchester Model 94 carbine!
