Did anybody else print up the list of things you can't do in the forums? I wanna keep a copy around, so I know what can and can't be done. Oh wait, are these rules strict or open for interpretation?

I'd much rather petition for a more inclusive result, rather than a "if we go, everyone goes" result.
And frankly, as I read those rules, I don't see much that specifically applies to what happened. There's no posting of emails "between users". And the other email section is in the section pertaining to protecting personal information, so if the email has no personal information then that's not applicable either.

I'd like to hear an explanation of which part of the rules were violated.

So what you're saying is, by posting something and you have an attractive picture, you should be banned? You're drawing attention to yourself now aren't you?(by having an attractive picture)

Concerning your questions on the thread being deleted actually it was pulled to Mods in order for the Admin to review. As stated very clearly in the forum rules you can not post e-mails of any member from this site you do not have to name them at all.

Yes you were sent the e-mail it was as a warning it also state very clear within the rules: Do not attack/slam/insult others. You can discuss the message or topic, but not the messenger - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are attacked by another user, and you reciprocate, YOU will also be subject to the same consequences. Defending yourself, defending a friend, etc. are NOT excuses. Violations of this rule are taken very seriously and may result in being banned without warning! It does not matter if you started the attacking or not you will still receive and e-mail if you chose to attack also.

And actually the thread broke two of the forum rules to begin with Topics which are started with the intent to denigrate, belittle, or disparage another JustSayHi member, either directly named or through enough descriptive commentary to be possibly identified, are prohibited. Such topics will be instantly deleted and may result in the banning of the original poster. This includes following another poster around in the forums, posting about past events gone sour, divulging personal information, spreading gossip or rumors, posting email exchanges between users, etc.


Keep the drama off the forums!

I still maintain that, under the rules as posted, there is nothing wrong with posting an email as long as it is not: 1) between users and/or 2) revealing of personal information.

Neither was the case with yours, I don't think. (Although obviously I can't go back and check now).

Because if I recall, I never got that impression. There was nothing specific about anyone...frankly there wasn't even anything general that I can recall.

I think we all are still confused, but hey, that's the way they like it apparently.

The JSH that I joined was nothing like it is now. Most of the "old crowd" seems to be gone. I am headed in that direction myself. All that's left is a bunch of late teens-mid 30s people and there is just no sophistication left in the site. I think it started when we blended with the "mingle" site. I still read the forums, but, the topics are so juvenile it makes me sick! As far as I'm concerned "another one bites the dust". This will be deleted, but, i just don't give a rats anymore.

I dunno, I don't think anyone knows, but its still amusing me.

The 30s are fine with me.. The teen ones seem to be the one's that are "never" deleted and usually are the ones that call attention, speak well retardedly and talk about things that well us older people really can't comment on without feeling like we're perverts... Before I get bashed please not the USUALLY not ALWAYS...

totaly agree..it is simply amazing what will be kept here..and what will be thrown out...

a few days back..there was nine pages filled with some jags post intitled..."how i hate fat and ugly women"..when i read this i was floored...not because so many people were defending this guys right to say this...not just because there was so many women who were agreeing..but because the moserators were letting him get away with it..or there was no one on duty at the time..

of course i like to think that i had a part in getting it removed..because i just trashed everyone on that post who were on the side of degradation..

and then poof.like magic..it was gone the next morning...
