I've had men offer me their cell/phone numbers.. but just because THEY were ready for me to call, didn't mean I was ready. A few days of emails.. or even some IM's.. is NOT enough for me. I need more time to reach a comfort level.

Now.. I do nto know the life circumstances of the woman you are referencing.. I can again, only speak for myself. I am a mother.. I realize that everything I do affects my children.. Translation?? I move MUCH slower than I would if I did not have them.

Also.. I know I am a throw back.. but I do not like being the one to make the first move... and sincce I am NOT giving out my number, I am the one that will need to make the move to call or text. You can be a strong, independant woman.. and still be shy in some ways.

Oh geez...you gave her a number..why should that scare her? It would be her choice to write it down, then actually dial it.

Maybe she got busy herself. Maybe she met someone else that she's talking to. Life moves on whether we're available or not.
