HAH! I was right, you DO need to have the last word,...no....wait...hmmm, I guess I do..... Just so you won't feel bad, now I have the last word. It's Friday! It's the Sabbath if you are Orthodox Jewish and it's a party day for just about everyone else. Have a good weekend. |

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Just for the record, it was a Republican, Calvin Coolidge, who was President just before the Great Depression hit, and his role in money policy that may have helped create the conditions for the Great Depression should not be discounted. |

I think Ann Coulter is one smart lady since she has who knows how many #l best sellers, and is raking in piles and piles of money on her books, her columns, and personal appearances. As one poster pointed out, she has all of us talking about her.
I also agree with another poster who stated that she probably doesn't believe half the stuff she says. This lady is one smart business woman out to make piles of money. She will say and do anything to further her career. mnhiker..... in re your post, "This supposedly educated darling of the Right once faced a felony charge for voting in the wrong precinct!" The above could have happened to anyone. The woman moved a few blocks away and went to the wrong precinct. She was told she could vote there, if she filled out a new address form. She didn't realize she had to fill out the address form immediately and voted, which was why she was almost charged. As a P.S. I do not take her seriously. How can anyone who will say and do anything to make a buck be taken seriously! |

leahmarie,
I agree with you on the postscript. That could apply to other political commentators as well. |

mnhiker and leahmarie, I agree with you. It is all about the money for them. The Howard Sterns of the political arena. I don't listen to any of them. Too much like the National Enquirer for me.
