bother anyone else when you're reading a profile and there are a TON of words that are spelled wrong? I feel like if you are going to advertise and want someone to take you seriously you should take the time to make sure you are doing it well enough so that they can read it lol

We've discussed this before and it will get loads of opposite views.. It bothers me when the profile or a post is written so badly you can't get what they're saying... My biggest peeve is when profiles state "I'm looking for a good women"... That one always makes me shake my head... |

It's not just you, Nikki. I just saw a profile of a guy who called himself a "witty intellectual" and half the words in his profile are spelled wrong. It's another one of those personal preferences that people are going to jump all over you for. It's OK apparently to want to date only good looking people, but if you like only smart people, everyone gets huffy. I guess that is because there aren't that many of them. And we all mis-type and misspell things on occasion; or hit the send a bit too quickly..but people who don't bother to differentiate between to and too, or there and their or any of the other things they teach you in 3rd or 4th grade just aren't that interested in communicating, I think. You can't communicate if you don't know how to use language, at least not in the online world. We don't catch your body language, here. |

A few errors here and there don't bother me. After all, I'm not that particular about my own spelling and grammer when online. Something that reads like it was written by a 5th grader does bother me. Something so bad it looks like it had to have been done by a very very drunk person bothers me the most. Especially if they can't go back and fix it after they sobbered up!
