I don't think you would necessarily lose your job. the cashiers where I work have been short 100+ plus before and still keep their jobs. I personally may or may not keep it depending on how much it was if it was like a dollar I'd probably keep it, but like $20 or more maybe not also depends on the cashier and the situation.

nope....and yep I'll take a hand full of those suckers....lol here is to honesty..on my youngest sons Bday..he went to leave for school..came back and said mom..happy B day to me...flashed me that beautiful smile and showed me $2000 ....he asked me what he should do?I asked him what do u want to do?He said I would really like to pay the rent. But There is a paper in here so I have to find out who it belongs to.So both my sons tracked down the owner. It had to do with the local fire department. The naeighbor droppped it.He didn;t have to tell me about it.. He received $20 and a beautiful note for being honest....and a proud mom... |

Yeah I've been a cashier before, and if we were more than like, $3 off, it was recorded, and if it happened continually we got fired. So I would give it back!

i only want what's rightfully mine.
otherwise, it's going back. i had a teller give me an extra hundred...and then ARGUE with me when i tried to give it back. i had to explain in detail why it didn't belong to me... |
