Alright, Illinois is now a "smoke free" state. I quit smoking a while ago, but when I drink I still socially smoke... I was at a bar that I have been going to for 10 years (on and off). I got caught smoking because of my forgettfulness and got "kicked out" of the bar.... Just wondering what the rules are everywhere else?

mOST bars where I live are non smoking.....but we do have a couple that have "smoking" areas.

Washington is nonsmoking in restaurants/bars, state/county buildings/vehicles, most other work places, etc. Have to be 25 feet away from entrances if you smoke outside a building, etc. Prisons went nonsmoking some time ago. Jails have been nonsmoking for years.

you cant smoke in bars here in cali either. they dont really kick u out , its a $100 fine.
