Topic: What the bleep? | |

Has anyone seen What the Bleep Do We Know or read the book? It's pretty cool. If you're into science, religion, philosophy, or just crazy stuff you should check it out. It's like The Secret on steroids (and not just about money... imagine that).

That movie was great. I went out and bought more books on the topic after watching it. I love the way science is starting to come full circle with spirituality. It isn't all the way there yet, but you can see the seeds of it.

I like when they discuss the unified field, and how everything in the universe is connected there. It's scientifically proven, and I think that's pretty sweet.

It isn't all the way there yet, but you can see the seeds of it. I think it will take a while for most people to accept those ideas though, since most people are not very open to radical change. But then again, most people aren't very smart either. I'm not saying that to be mean, but it's true. |

That's why I think people need to be exposed to more films and documentaries about things like this. People need to be challenged to think and explore and open thier eyes to the fact that the world is a whole lot more then they learned in school. Just because we end our formal education doesn't mean the world stops and there is nothing more to learn. To many people seem to do that. But then I was always a weird one, watching as much pbs as regular t.v.

In general I think if people don't understand something they drop it so they don't feel stupid. They miss a lot that way... |

But then I was always a weird one, watching as much pbs as regular t.v. Yup. As stated in the movie, our brains process 400 billion bits of information per second, but we are only aware of 2,000 of them. That means that we are only aware of .0000005% of all reality. Hmm... makes you think. |
