A look into the past inspires,
bringing a brimming of true joy. Remembering reaches up, a spire.. now a man but still your boy. Times shared over a cigarette..yet a hard-headed punk, I followed no lead. You tried to guide me, on this i'd bet, "Love My Attitude", was my creed. Ne'er would I conform to a march, a rebel by birth, blood, and descent. Trust me momma', without your starch, I was, damn surely, one hell-bent. Don't worry bout' that little boy, you raised him up just fine. He never wanted for any toy, though a sh** at the time. I have made many mistakes in my life, though not a single would I undo. And I'd gladly revisit any strife, if it meant avoiding the loss of you. Precious..like diamonds and gold, without you i'd ave' sold my soul. Always your loving son..Dimmie Mac |
