I don't know that I would feel comfortable traveling outside the country at all these days, with all the terrorism and threats against U.S. citizens. I work with doctors and know they go to places like Spain, Costa Rica, Italy, etc., for vacations with their families, and they have done okay, but they also dress non-American when they go too.
I would want to know the person face to face before traveling outside the country for a first time meet. The police and laws are different in the other countries, I would feel safer if the person came here. Then after I met them and felt comfortable, maybe then I would travel to visit them. |
