Ive been celibate for almost 2 years.....havent dated......and Im getting pretty randy dammit!!! I think I know that feeling!!

A woman told me that it was odd that I haven't had a girlfriend, for being divorced for 3 years?? Does that throw a flag up for women, or what?? Thinking like that just goes to show you why those women are still available. You seem like you are doing just fine! Best of luck to you.

I guess it would depend on the answer to the question, why have you been single for three years? I would prefer a man to have an answer, that reflects he is more interested in healing, and learning about himself, and having taken that time to know who he is, and what he requires from life...than a serial dater.

I don't think it throws up a red flag at all. I guess some people would wonder is it by choice? I have only had one date since July of 04...then I don't really even know if it was a date. I think people have different reasons for not dating, I don't think its really anyones business why we don't date. I think when we decide the time is right, then we will start dating. Until then, let people talk if thats what they choose to do!! You would think that people would find something more entertaining to do then worry about whose single and who finally has a mate!!

You aren't ready yet - need more time to heal than the next person. Do it in your own time. If, however, you are unhappy that you are not in a relationship - maybe it is time to do something about it?
