I think that's how it's spelled....anyway, i've been having really bad chest pains for the past couple days and today at work my boss sent me to the nurse. She told me to clock out and go to the clinic so i did, and the doctor found out i have pluracy. i guess it's a virus that eats away at the lining of your lungs or something so now my lungs aren't protected so well so there scraping against my ribs. So i can't go back to work til friday cause i gotta give the pills they gave me time to kick in.....

Pleurisy is very painful. It will get better. I hope you don't smoke while you're sick, if you do.

all i know about it is what the stoned doctor told me and that it hurts like hell.....not to sure on a lot about it......anybody with details feel free to post......

I had it years ago, it felt like I was having a heart attack. It hurt to even breathe, I was not able to take in a full breath of air, I had to do very shallow breathing. It was very painful if I remember correctly...I hope you feel better real soon.

my ex had it and her mom had it. something about the fluid in your chest cuasing swelling and such. very painfull but with medication it goes away real quick.

yeah I agree with Iam4u a good freind of mine had it a few yrs ago and it does take some time..I remember he said he used to make a steam room out of his bathroom and sit in there reading the paper..it gave him some relief |
