I wish they would have warned me ahead of time. That steroid shot to calm my sinuses and cough was the most painful shot I've had in my entire life. If she had warned me, I would have braced myself against the table so I didn't jump. As it was, she had to stick me twice, and I've never been wimpy about shots before! Gosh, warning are a good thing. I just cannot type today.

Yeah they hurt like crazy but it will be worth the pain when it starts taking effect. Drink plenty of fluids and rest....

try a 15 inch needle being stuck between your fingers, threw your hand, threw your right half way up to your elbow very slowly and forcibly, the drug back out even more slowly.............
thank god it had some potent morphine in it so it didn't hurt long but that was worse then being kicked in the nuts several times over and over agian..... oh yeah they did that 3 seperate times betwen each of my fingers....... |

my mum had to have steroid shots into her spine every 3 months that is painful, made her cry and she was a tough women

I have to get steriod shots in my knees every three months, plus I take steriod pills every day for Lupus. It sucks-but is sure helps with the pain. Good luck to ya.

I've had shots in my neck, now that's not to fun but it wasn't to painful either but yet it was some what painful. Never helped me but a day or two if that.

I had one in my spine once and it realllly hurt! I didn't want to seem wimpy but I was close to tears.
