Everyone pretty much pours their heart out on here... That's all well and good, but there are so many other inspirational emotions besides love.... I wrote this guy when I had allot of stuff going on and my mind was a million gears turning in overdrive :)

Aptly Named: INERTIA

Does anybody really know who's got the full control, the moon man mandates us to come and go?
And for a bit, I'd like to think it's my hand on the switch when the train stops at my station and away we roll.
She caught my eye and I could say hello or say goodbye but in my mind me thinks that I should just say NO.
She's got a spice for life for her I've got some good advice. The water turns to ice when weather gets too cold.

When the rain falls on my head I'll never cry for sun, instead.
I'll make the best of getting wet and maybe something green will grow.

You'll hear no small complaints from those who learn to act their age, but he says he's devised a way to stop it's flow.
And only he'll be scratched when he instigates a pissing match, the timber has be squandered for the largest man made bungalow.
I've got no qualms when I am lying here inside your arms. Emotion only limited to "To and Fro"
It's got a sting to it a temperamental ring to it while pessimism's evident in all of Edgar Allen Poe

She's got my number, but I know she aint gunna use it
She thinks that all the proof is just for show

Does anybody really know what makes a good love grow, I heard it's always best to take it slow.
But when you find that there will never be a "Nevermind" what's going on is going blind and that's the way the story goes.

The poet says the preacher lies, the preacher says we never die, the reaper says he can't deny, we all sleep six feet below
Scholars try and change the law, lawyers exploit all our flaws and we all wonder
"Where is God"
We left him standing at the door.

Thank you.. hold the applause till the end please lol :)

I smell "throwdown!" in the air (grin)

Ok, here's a piece I wrote....

“Mutha ****a bus gonna make me wait all damn night!” is what I hear when I slide onto that ice cold steel trapped on the bleakest streets Phoenix has to offer. My rent for hire wheels, The Bus. I move on over as he sits down next to me eyeing up my slick red shoes and giving me a little wink as he reaches into his pocket and snags his last three butts as he mutters “which one of these am I gonna fire on up?” and of course I’m down wind of him choking on his left over smoke as he sucks up his Camel with a look of pure ecstasy and then breaks into a raspy cough as he asks “so Dorothy, you gonna click dem red heels and find your way home”? Wondering if it would do me any good to just ignore him and then deciding with a sigh that it would be fairly useless, I say, “hey if I could have clicked my heels, trust me, I wouldn’t be sitting here breathing your second hand cancer into my throat and freezing my ass off in this rain”…..and he laughs shaking his head. I try to soften my remark with a little snicker and grin only to find that I’ve done exactly what I was hoping to avoid~getting his attention as he sneers and slides on over next to me. “Hey man, hey man!” I hear as my savior rides up on a shiny new Beachrunner Bike. “You got forty dollars? Forty bucka and this here bike is all yours, brand new, brand NEW! just bought, worth $99 dollars, you can have it for $40”….. My bus stop companion rises to his seedy feet as he fumbles in his pocket digging out a dirty ten and his last two butts. “Man if I had forty bucks you think I’d be homeless??, I got ten, ten’s all I got you want ten?” and I sit there between the two of them arguing over my wet head thinking “oh yeah, I’m running with the big dogs now…..32nd and Thunderbird pikers haggling over a stolen Target bicycle” as I sit there pinned like a moth to a pegboard waiting for…..

The Bus.

Arizona sounds like a real nice tourist spot lol.
Sounds like a very true story... Good source of inspiration :)

We gauge success by the size of yer wallet
When they come to collect, take the deadline and stall it
If it's not up to spec, move on to the next step
What looked good on paper's now a prototype reject
What'd you expect when you stick out yer neck
Soft fabrications instead of hard facts
With phase one complete now it's time to relax
But when it's time to compete, clean the **** out yer slacks
Because time doesn't stop so we race with the clock
Taunted and mocked by the hands of yer wrist watch
The cogs boast and brag "Baby, tick to the tock!"
You try and make headway, but all roads are blocked
All cause, no effect, time to mend the concept
For fame or for fortune or government check
Now proven inept so you get no respect
You can place all the blame on a tampered with deck!!

Excellent!

The End of The Line

So I catch my ride
Slip on inside
And down next to
Another worn out mama
On her way home
Alone
Tired and aching
Knows what’s waitin’
At the End of this line
More weary faces
Starved embraces
Wanting
Wanting
Wanting
Gimme gimme mama
And mama,
Shuffling off in shoes
Worn and thin
To take care of her pack.
Her pride and her joys.
Nope.

There’s no rest for the weary.
