Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why?

Family photos would be the number 1 for myself.
They could never be replaced no matter what.

Whatever is in the fridge.

Anyway, the life of my cats and my loved ones can't be replaced. So it won't really matter which material posessions turn into ashes.

My PC and/or external HD.
Everything that is important is on there from photos to documents.

I'd lose all my own photos from childhood, teenage years etc. but you gotta make a split-second choice of what outweighs the rest.
