The Rain is Earth's Lover
It Caresses a Flower
As it falls on the velvet petal
Slowly, every so slowly
Making its way along the path
Hesitating along the leaf
Gliding along the stem
Tenderly down into the soil below

A lovers hand caresses your hair
Glides along your face
Comforting and exciting you all at once
Tenderly it touches your lips
Hesitates there
Gliding along, loving you to your soul

The rain can be a gentle lover
A light shower of kisses
A relaxing but intimate lover
Falling gently on earth's surface
Making you glide into peacefulness

It can be a driven and exciting lover
A rush, a need for more so powerful it thunders with it
A wild fall into the unknown
Passionately crying for more
until
it discovers it, and it ends...

It glows in the sunshine
like your eyes in another's
Downpour or gently
Passionately or loving
Rain or lovers

(an addition, but not necessary, it flows different from the above but the above is kind of needed for the below so...lol basically two in one)

Rain or Lovers
Each making new life
The soil holds in life that is ready to burst
into the beauty it is, for all the world to see
You caress your belly
for inside there is new life
waiting to grow
and show its beauty
inside and out to the world

You and your lover
Made into one
As beautiful and strong
As the rainbow created
in the quiet of an after storm.

LOL...I work in retail...the store was slow...but felt guilty while doing it...but it came to mind...so I wrote...wrote some others too but they're not ready...I think its because its sort of about...hmmmm...LOL.... well lets just say I've enjoyed quite a few conversations...very long ones with a guy and while the poems are just silly, its still making me nervous writing them...oh my I don't know what I'm saying...I guess I'm hoping it goes somewhere...though I don't really plan on it going somewhere...maybe friendship...maybe not...and who the heck knows (except God, who's probably enjoying quite a little laugh over His child's confusion)???okay sorry rambling...hmmmmmmmmmm

LOL....well we'll just ask the creator of the stars to slow the butterflies down for ya and give ya a chance to breathe.

LOL...I think thats the problem...he went to go take a shower...lol we work the same hours, so now I wait for him to come back and I end up posting here...though lol I'm posting here as I talk to him...the poor guy gets me talking about my friends from JSH...(I didn't meet him on this site...though am thinking about inviting him here...except we spend so much talking when he's online he probably doesn't have much time to do much more )
