The Castle Of Dreams

When you're down and feeling low
And life isn't what it seems,
Why don't you follow me closely
To the Castle of Dreams.
It has all kinds of rooms
In which to lay down,
But nary a scary room exists
None will ever be found,
Come, follow me...
I will take you there,
I have you a room
In which I prepared.

The outside of the castle was vivid
With beautiful colors abound,
It's majestic aura is magical
With angels flying around.
There are unicorns eating
In the plush green fields,
Over to the right of them
Knights are clashing with shields.
Birds of all species
Fly above, around the towers,
And just as you enter the castle
A magician with awesome powers.

The mystical magical feelings
You feel as you step inside,
I, the Sandman must leave you now
This Gnome will be your guide.
I have work to do ahead
For those who cannot sleep,
Brodo, your guide here
Will help with a promise that I keep.
With that, he whisked away
Like fairy dust in the the wind,
Now, to look down on Brodo
Whose trust we must depend.

He waves his hand and emits
A magical ball that glows,
He tells us to wait
As down the hall he goes.
Where did he go,
And what is he up to?
As quick as he left
He came back in a few.
He was stepping backwards
Edging us to come hither,
As the glowing ball follows
While we slowly did slither.

Brodo, points me to a room
As he opens the door,
Tell you, the others, to keep going
There are plenty more.
He tells me to hush
And to enjoy my stay,
All my troubles and worries
Will be on their way.
He backs up and closes the door
As quickly as he leaves,
What starts to take place
It was hard to believe.

I fell to the bed to lay down
As I saw the Sandmans dust,
I felt my eyelids grow heavy
As I heard him say "You must trust."
With that, my eyes shut tight
As I drifted off to dream,
All my troubles and worries
Seem to melt like ice cream.
I dreamed of running free
In the fields with the unicorn,
Riding Pegasus through the skies
And blowing a golden horn.

There was wonderment in the magic
In the Castle of Dreams,
You feel so much at ease
With all the color schemes.
The Sandman will relax you
As he helps you drift to sleep,
There, he will keep safe
With a promise that he keeps.
You'll have wonderful dreams
That he places in your head,
He promises you no evil
Only from his nemesis named Dread.

Dread gives you nightmares
That can scare you to death,
He can make you toss and turn
He will take away your breath.
Time will seem to stop
As he maks everything dark,
He will make your night miserable
In your mind he will park.

Take the time to relax
Let pleasantries enter your mind,
Put Dread in his place
Let the Sandman destroy his kind.
Take time before you lie down
To relax your mind at ease,
Pretend you're in solitude
On an island in the breeze.

Let the Sandman take you
To the Castle of Dreams,
Allow him to enter
To take you to color schemes.
Where the angels fly high
And the unicorns feed,
The mystical magic castle
Will calm what you need.

But hence its time to take a flight to the Castle of dreams on my own pegasus, we shall sleep in the castle garden under the peaceful stars, and I shall dream only good...
