I hope that I don't break any of the forum rules because this is a very deep post. I don't understand the world anymore. What happened to human beings? People are not behaving like they should emotionally and mentally speaking. I can't seem to find a female that has no ego. I mean why does a person think so much? Trying to defend one's self from a perceived possible threat would make that person the threat for the mere thought of. I haven't met anybody that practices unconditional love. If there are any "buts" then it's far from being unselfish.

What do people really want? Can one read this post without thinking it's speaking about them personally? What if I needed your help and we just met? What if I spoke about topics or had opinions you've never thought about. How would one accept these statements?

Who is really lonely? The person that lives in their head or the person that has no real person to talk to because everybody they meet lives in their head?

Why do people have to go back into the past just to consider moving forward? Why would someone say they have to "process" what's being said when what's being said is the process.

I'm looking for a real human being. One that has no fear of being out of control. Only rule I believe in is believing in being Alive.

I will be honest and say, I have pretty much no idea what you just said. :joy: I do understand that I do not in any way, understand people. And loving unconditionally? I think I have that. And I think that's part of the reason I really don't understand how people think. I have always been "that" friend that people go to when they're lonely. The supportive one that will do whatever I can to make sure he/she is okay. I am also "that" friend who understands that same person, once he/she is healed and okay, will find someone "better" to hang with. That literally has been my whole life since elementary school. I am thankful God can use me in whatever way He does though. And I genuinely am happy when people are "okay" enough to move on with life. I will sit back and still love them... From a distance. What I don't understand, is selfish people. What is this life?! I can't fathom the idea of only caring about what I can take from it, rather than what I can give. So yeah, I don't feel at "home" in this world. And I'm pretty okay with that. The Book of Hebrews mentions how believers all the way back to the beginning, were searching for a city whose builder and maker was God. They wandered like strangers. So I feel like I'm in pretty good company.

I feel it's fair to say everyone has their desires and dreams of a future filled with sunshine happiness as much as you do yourself, and if the majority disagree with you, then maybe it's time to take a deep look inside at oneself and see if anything needs changing? To make things more agreeable...

“He was a wicked thing sometimes . All full of want . As if the shape of the world depended on his mood . As if he were important . “

What about your ego Mr extroverted ? Are you perfect ? 100% in control of your thoughts and emotions, without any fear ? You claim to want a real human yet want you want is to control another . Without ego there is no self esteem , no confidence . It is what allows us to react and make sense of the world and our social interactions . Sure it can be overinflated and toxic but it is also part of our self identity, our sense of self . Can someone truly have no fear ? It is after all a protective mechanism . “To be real would be to feel the fear and do it anyway ..”

Best of luck with your egocentric “unconditional “ search  waving

I have to seriously side-eye anyone who claims that they love "unconditionally". Would you actually continue to love someone who stole all your money, or intentionally set your house on fire, or abused your child, or killed one of your loved ones? Any reasonable person is going to have "conditions" and boundaries on love.

It actually makes sense to me, because I'm the same. If you met me in real life you would probably assume that I'm an extrovert. I'm very friendly and outgoing and can converse pretty easily with strangers. I teach first grade, so that probably gives you a little insight into my type of personality. But I am definitely an introvert. Being "on" all the time drains me. I will avoid social situations whenever possible.

Funny that we have that in common, no problem communicating or being out-going, but default to quiet environments (home) by preference, preferably together.

The expression "Extroverted Introvert" is an oxymoron.
