My guess is, when you both feel comfortable in meeting each other, it's different for different people. Welcome to Mingle2, and good luck in your search. |

I'd say a minimum of a month, as some fakes can be hard to spot....
Been here for more than a few years, and so far never got that far. |

It's different for everyone. It's more of a personal choice. On other sites I've messaged for months. And I've met just after a couple days. Both have worked out in the past. And both have failed.

I first decided to check out a possible online connection when I was in Missouri. I didn't know anyone and wanted the company of a woman for pizza. This was in May 2022. Since then, I have tried on and off a few sites. Most wanna be scams that were easy to identify. But... people meet and date in the same week in a non online environment. I don't plan to stay long but certainly 2 weeks is enough for a date. What is all the hesitation? If you don't want to meet someone, get off the site! Anyone who has travelled knows things are getting worse. I have no woman problems. I am an author and, whether I connect or not, great content. Lol 2 weeks.

It's different for everyone. It's more of a personal choice. On other sites I've messaged for months. And I've met just after a couple days. Both have worked out in the past. And both have failed. I agree with NotPay4Play. It's going to be different for everyone. I think it's more about the frequency and quality of your interractions than about the length of time. Exchanging a handful of texts every day for two months is not going to form as much of a connection as video chatting on Zoom for four hours a day for a week. My partner and I met on here, and after talking obsessively to each other for a week, we knew we wanted to meet. And it would involve a significant monetary and time investment, since we live 6,000 miles apart. We had our first in-person visit 7 weeks later. If we lived in the same city we would have probably met before the first week was over. You can just tell when there is a strong connection. |
