Many men (and women ) struggle with gift wrapping. So if you find yourself with a weird shaped gift to wrap for someone special …this is the thread for you .

Firstly .. i have been told that wrapping balls/ sphere shapes can be extremely tricky … so with that in mind .. here is a helpful suggestion ..,

“Wrapping Ball shapes

Technique for wrapping Sports balls, baubles, beauty gifts and any other sphere shapes…,

Take a sheet of tissue paper and place your ball/balls in the centre. Then roll the ball forward while holding on to the paper to make sure the circumference is covered.

Then use a small piece of tape in the middle to secure.

Repeat this action with a sheet of Cellophane. Then twist the tissue and Cellophane in as close to the ball as possible and secure with some ribbon.

Repeat this action on the other side so you have two equal ends that make your ball/s look like a sweet wrapper.

Trim the ends of your wrapper and tie a small piece of string with bells around the inner section of the bow to create a fun, candy-style look.”

Your a special girl Blondey, it's been many moons since anyone has done anything like that for me. I'll be smiling all Xmas day now.. wondering. I guess you will have your family around you and that's the most important thing. I lost my elder brother in August so he will he close to me. And I'll be thinking of you as well.

After the schools ended i was working in a gift shop during teen age so wrapping up gifts with design paper or foils, i have a good practice of that along putting the tag with reverse tape on gifts

I don't celebrate Christmas, but the whole gift wrapping thing is always fascinating to me I love seeing gifts under the tree, even the fake ones in shopping mallsl displays lol

no presents to wrap, no presents to give, nor receive, a boss gave me a switchblade, thats all i will get.

first year in my entire life, like this, always saw family on the 24th, had someone in my life on 25th, not this year.

wish i had not took this week for vacation, and could work everyday!

I'll remember this the next time I wrap up some balls for that very special someone.

Yes , spending Christmas with my parents , 3 sisters , 2 brothers and a mob of nephews /nieces . They all live in the north island so I am travelling from the south for some Christmas chaos . It has been a very busy year for me so haven’t seen them in person as much as I would like. Definitely planning to overload on them lol .
