The new car? OMG no. What car has the engine incased in some sort of lame plastic cover??
My first car? Yes. It was mandatory I learned how to change the oil and a tire before I bought my first car. When TheKid was in elementary school, he made a book at school, "What I love about my mommy." One of the pages was me fixing the car. In his scribbled handwriting, it says "She can fix her car by herself." As a single mom, seeing that made my heart soar. OT: I wonder if Mike has rebuilt any car engines? Yes many, including the second one, a Buick GS 400 V-8 I rebuilt in 1980, I still have it. Worked at an Oldsmobile dealership for 8 1/2 yrs where I did major engine repairs. |
