Topic: What are you looking for in a relationship | |

I'm looking for or rather I'd look for stability in a relationship. I want to grow old with the person I love. That person on the other end has to be reliable enough. I'm also looking for a person who has the balls to carry a relationship. In short someone who is ready to take the responsibility a relationship brings with it.

I may settle for a loyal dog at this stage of my life. I don't think I am relationship material anymore.

Same as well, I think find a loyalty dog is much more easier than find a right person.

I looked for and found personality alignment.
I don't put much importance on expectations. Finding someone who aligns with you can be a challenge especially if you don't quite know where you align. I had years of solitude for introspection. When that personality alignment is found there are things which are the same and things which are uniquely different. Not only is it easy to have the relationship, there is enough different to keep it interesting and the experience broadens both horizons. In having a personality alignment with someone you share the core values and disciplines which make each individual. Together, it allows you ... as a couple, to become more of the best of each of you. Conflict is minimal and intimacy is deeper. You each become a stronger you than you alone. There is no unwritten law which states your relationships must have conflict. When you are in a relationship which is out of alignment, contentment cannot be attained. You must first know yourself and what causes you to be you, then you must look for those qualities in the right person which enhances both of you to be more of who and what you already are. You must Choose Wisely. |

I wish I could say I'm ready to settle for a loyal dog...lol. That sounds so uncomplicated. But I'm gonna keep taking "applications" and rejecting those that do not have the "qualifications."
If you'd asked me a month ago, I'd have said, someone who is compatible. Someone you have chemistry with. Funny, etc. Now I know without respect, all of that is worthless. So the answer...I don't know. I'm floored. |

Same as well, I think find a loyalty dog is much more easier than find a right person. I HAVE HAD MEN TELL ME THE SAME, SO IT'S NOT A GENDER THING....I BELIEVE ITS ARE AWARENESS AND SPECIFICALLY ONE'S BELIEF SYSTEM...WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT OURSELVES AND OTHERS HELPS ATTRACT OTHERS THAT FIT THAT BELIEF SYSTEM..SO MANY PEOPLE ARE ADDICTED TO THE KARPMAN TRIANGLE TO GET THERE STROKES...( NEEDS MET ). BY STROKE I MEAN UNITS OF RECOGNITION....SO WHEN SOMETHING IS NOT WORKING FOR US WE NEED TO LOOK FOR NEW ANSWERS....'' WE TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO TREAT US ''...OUR LIVES FOLLOW A SCRIPT AND WE ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE IT..... |
