At what age would a game console be suitable for a child? Also, which game console would be best for a child's first game console?

Now a days it really doesn’t seem to matter. Working for a grocery store I’ve seen them with either iPhones, iPads or Nintendo Switches so start there.

Ive been through this.
best in my opinion is to go with a PC from the start, if not you'll end up buying one in the end anyways. |

The nice thing about PC is that you can easily connect a controller if keyboard and mouse isn't comfortable. You can also purchase just about any game (with the exception of certain Sony and most of Nintendo's libraries) for pc. If you have to go with a console, I'd say switch. Low premium cost when compared to Xbox and PlayStation, large range of couch co-op games, and the first party titles are all family friendly. |

But yeah iPad are not very kid friendly these days due to lack of proper regulation on mobile games

saw this meme once with a bunch of African kids doing somersaults off a tree in a river and the meme title was "the original playstation" so yeah i agree wait until they can buy it themselves because they need your time not some binary one.

I got him the Switch. He is more interested in taking literally 500 - 600 snapshots of the main screen of his Paw Patrol game than actually playing the game. We played a little bit of a Pokemon game together though.
I would like to find a way to disable the screenshot button. Is there a controller that doesn't have the button maybe? |
