What is the purpose behind taking a selfie with a mask on. Is it the media instilling too much fear. It's been scientifically proven masks don't work, unless there the N95.

Some folks do look better with a mask over their face.

I'm one of those people.
I just can't selfie worth a damn.

The only reason I can think of is to show they're good, law abiding citizens doing -what they think to be- the right thing.
Probably not unlike using a photo frame on FB that says "I've been vaccinated!!"

People are strange.
I'm figuring some might even wear masks in their own home.

It makes absolutely no sense to post a picture with a mask on a dating site.
But then, it also makes no sense to post pictures of multiple people or with a child or pet as a profile picture on a dating site.

Masks are merely an additional layer of protection. However, society has turned it into a trend. Its likely some, if not most people who post profile pics with a mask over their faces, do it because they think it makes them look trendy.

There's a whole range of personality traits which would cause this type of behavior and none of them are attractive to me. If I were still looking, I would pass them by without a second thought.

Some people may think of it as doing the right thing, or such as, law abiding, but right now we are under an tyrantical government to which election laws were changed unconstitutionality in the middle of the 2020 election. Too much fake news because the media is controlled by the left to instill fear in the countries people so the tyranny can continue until the left have full control of our daily lives. Too many people have their heads buried in the sand.

Maybe they just robbed a 7=11 and forgot to take it off.

Humm myself I don't get it either, so what they are wearing a mask..

I will pull mine down or take it off for pictures..

About as crazy as those wearing theirs walking down the street or in their car and no one around them..

Some seem to have no clue that is worse for you breathing in your own air and the particles that are within the mask.

Sorry it has been proven even the mask say they will not prevent covid but yet if they feel more comfortable wearing one so be it..

Not for me and will not wear one unless I have too..

I did when the stores would not let you in without one but pulled it down after I got in.. still got in and out and spent less due to wearing one..

wearing a mask makes it harder to tell if people are genuine,facial impressions are important
