Topic: REJECTED | |

There was a article on this at Creative loafing. Basically from there research, if you answered the religious questions wrong(in there eyes) on the App. you were booted. The guy who owns E-harmony is a minister or something |

anybody can join eharmony, they don't start rejecting you till they start matching you, unless it's really bad app. then they have this councelor call you and confirm everything, run a cradit app. criminal record, employment history and such. thats when they really start rejecting people
any crimanl record at all, even minor stuff - your out any credit report under like 580 - your out if you younger then 25, or older then 45 - your out if you've been divorced twice - your out if you make less then 50k a year - your out once you start paying them, they reject 90% of all the people who sign up and no refunds. |

I'm no fan of eHarmony but I have to point out - this is all completely untrue. They don't care what your credit rating is. I seriously doubt they do a criminal check but I do know of people with misdemeanors on their record who use the site. The 25 to 45 age range assertion is just plain goofy. They have no way of verifying what your annual income is. I've been divorced twice and they KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS telling me they have my match. Yes I went through there dreadfully long "personality profile" test and created a barebones profile there to check out the site. First off I don't trust those personality questionnaires any farther than I can spit and I'm SURE not going to trust some computer program to tell me who is and who isn't a "match" for me. I find the format there to be insulting. The only profiles you get to look at are the ones deemed matching by their system. That Doc may be a preacher and he may be the creator of that site but I don't let anybody or any computer play God with my social life. |
