As much as I like to see this horrible person go to jail, Matt Gaetz is not the only one. He's a symptom of what this party is. They ran people like Roy Moore (apparently Evangelicals love child predators). One of Trump's campaign chairs, Ralph Shortney, had plead guilty to a charge of child sex trafficking in order for the prosecutors to drop the charges of child pornography.
And if we go a little bit further back, there are dozens of other Republicans like Bobby Stumbo (former Kentucky party leader) who has been convicted of raping a 5yo. So this is nothing new in this party.
