What if Kennedy had lived on and had eventually succeeded to implement the changes he had announced and wanted for the country?

I never thought of that, but of late I'm thinking...
If people hadn't chickened out of voting this great party in the 80s... my country wouldn't be in deep chit now.

If Pim Fortuyn hadn't been assassinated... the country wouldn't be in deep chit now...

Isn't it the same with the USA and Kennedy?

In the meantime the ones in power got to grow in strength which makes it all the more difficult now to get the f**kers out.

Maybe if they hadn't had Kennedy assassinated the whole damned world would be different now. It would've rippled out all over the world.
I know it's a lot of if if if, and I may be drawing conclusions that aren't entirely correct. I'm not an expert at politics, hihi.
But still...

Interesting. There cannot be but so much national unity. In small communities, where people have the motivation and communication with each other, there are many creative and well suited possibilities. It is often hard to get everyone to agree in a large community, since the people are many and the exits are few.

The land is the baseboard. Then there is language and knowledge which provide a cross reaching community resource, governments, and local organizations. Change in operations of authority is only favorable when there are other options out there so the population can reorganize in a more steady way.

JFK wouldn't fit in the Democrat party today.

In January 1963, Kennedy presented Congress with a tax proposal that would reduce the top marginal tax rate.....today Democrat party want to raise the top marginal tax rate.

In his inaugural address that John F. Kennedy said "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".....today's Democrat party promote the exact opposite idea of asking what your country can do for you.

JFK believed in military strength, reducing taxes and exerting American influence around the globe in the name of freedom which is the "peace through strength" principle......s principle that today's Democrat party rejects.

JFK was considered a "liberal" Democrat when he was elected, his beliefs and values would make him an evil conservative by today's Democrat party.

Personally I don't think if JFK wasn't assassinated it would have stopped the radicals on left from hijacking the liberal moniker while promoting governmental CONTROL which destroys personal freedom which is the cornerstone of liberalism. The left, and seemingly the Democrat party today, want people to be dependent on government because they are easier to control than independent people who don't have to rely on government .....much the way young children are more easily controlled than young adult children who earn their own money.

It might be possible to think that had Kennedy lived, the dems might be an entirely different party today.

Speculating that "What if?" never changes anything. Care to ponder this one-Kennedy was supposedly shot at three times. One bullet passed through two people, causing some damage to both. The last bullet shattered his skull, and left fragments in his skull. So, what's my point? Two people shot him with different weapons. (The last one was from a high powered weapon)

I thought it was Kennedy who ordered NASA to boot it to the Moon.

I mean no disrespect but, why did Kennedy get assassinated? Was it because he started the Viet Nam war, approved the "Bay of Pigs" fiasco, or was it something else?

the real reason(s) will remain unknown to the world - similar to 9/11.

Can you imagine a leader in Afghan orchestrating 9/11,
or, a failing dictator in Iraq rousing USA?

Egyptian pilots hitting the citadel of Jews in NYC - avenging the humiliation of the 6 day war - more likely.

With JFK's assassination followed by RFK's the plots are nested. At the outer shell is Lee Harvey Oswald, a former military sniper (who had defected to the Soviet Union in 1959, married there and returned?) - the Russian angle

Inside the shell are many players - powerful Americans
unless you accept the theory that the shot fired by FBI agent George Hickey ---
was accidental.

Absolutely right in that JFK's influence extended to India
and collapsed when Nixon nixed India
while Kissinger kissed China

May sound funny till one acknowledges that the Swamp is everywhere, across the Globe. It resides in the cities like gangster networks reporting to elected officials or corrupt officials -- and the Center draws power from these organizations in the Cities.

Indian politics was infested with scams and nepotism until 2014 when the present government came to power. We have a long way to go yet.

I would venture that the Swamp started to shrivel in JFK's times, but revived after his assassination - and now huge. As Sharyl Attkisson says in her book 'The Slanted' Big Tech joined in after 2016. Yes, the World is cornered.

One possible reason could be Kennedy's plan to withdraw from Vietnam..

I suggest you Google arms exports by US and Russia - history - to understand why Lyndon was persuaded against this.
