So many come to mind....but Ronnie James Dio is one of my top favorites His music career has spanned over 50 years, with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and his own group DIO A great loss to the music industry when he passed away from stomach cancer in May 2010

Rob Halford. That chap celebrates his 70th birthday today. Unbelievable I knew he was up there but didn't realize he was 70. Then again I should have considering Judas Priest is about to celebrate their 50th anniversary. BTW, Didn't he just go into the beer business?

... between: 1) Freddie Mercury (Queen) 2) Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) 3) Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) I find it very hard to make up my mind, and probably there is no reason to choose, but it's a forum, whe have to talk about something Ah I was going to say Freddie Mercury before I even saw that. Very talented he was.

Robert Plant- I'm not the biggest Zeppelin fan, but dude is all time. Ian Astbury- So underrated. Myles Kennedy- I am putting him here because he is the best vocalist since the 2000's.
