This is a constant request. And the profiles are questionable. It almost makes you think, WhatsApp is using fake profiles to get people to download it. Or This whole dating app, is a front for the app.

This is not a bug. People try and get you to go offsite because they’re phishing for more info about you.

There is no reason to go offsite as it’s free to send and receive messages here.

The main reason to get you offsite is also there is no "audit" trail to get them banned.

They don't want to commit on here where you can just report them and the admins can read their text messages. Of course 99% of the women on here are fakes and scammers but hey Mingle lets them slide it seems.

A simple algorithm could weed them out you know like: If woman/man is more than 20 years younger than "victim" and lives more than 800 miles away then they are a scammer.

Oh and Mingle, give us the ability to block people without having to do the clickfest of reporting for no reason. I have no desire to have 150 20-40 year old women filling up my Matches so that I can't find any real possibilities.

Since this is an International Site and everyone all over the world can join. We do not block who can view you or match you..

But the site does offer Filters for your e-mail where you can set the distance and age of who can contact you...

It is up to each Member to set those filters.

Since it is basically a Free Site we ask that all members use the Report System in place in order to report the scammers...

Admin does handle every report..

So set Filters & Report to help out the site to find the scammers..

i have had maybe ten messages in the last 3 days from one picture asian women typing the exact same thing
it is clearly not being dealt with as no IP bans are being issued to the offenders

And have you reported these profiles to Admin giving them their IDs?

just done one did another last night i will keep doing it too as i don't let anything slide at all but admin could quite easily match the IP's to the bucketload of new accounts being made every day and just ban the IP therefore solving the problem and if they use VPN's then just check their chat logs for the same exact chat bot messages they send
EDIT: i have been here maybe 5 or so days and this is like a 4 message a day thing now

not to worry...there is a shelf life on the newbie feeding frenzy...after that you will not be the delicacy du jour each day...meanwhile as suggested set you filters...

Scammers don't only ask you go communicate by WhatsApp but they'll also ask you to communicate through Google hangout or by email. You've got to be really careful. A few years ago I gave my cell number to someone I was chatting with (on another dating site), he had a phone number with my area code in Canada -- and when I searched his phone number I found the number in an online Escort database in mid-Western USA, go figure! I asked him/her to lose my number and thankfully they did. Be careful, report the suspicious profiles -- and Google everything.
