Basic human relations needs to be re-learned by some people. You can't even wish someone a good morning anymore with them losing their **** over it and blocking you. Like seriously WTF?

The Internet is an inanimate object like a hammer it's how it's used by people that make things better or worse

Kill 'em with kindness.

The Internet is an inanimate object like a hammer it's how it's used by people that make things better or worse You are correct. And do you expect people will change the way they use the internet? Half the world's self worth hangs on whether or not they get likes, retweets, etc. on social media. |

Kind of depends on the context: If it was a stranger or not, how it went and what was said.
If someone was to approach me in real life to say good morning I'd also feel like PO!! Get out of my face! That's general & normal behaviour: unless you know someone or there's been some form of understanding like a smile or eye-contact, you don't go over to a stranger to say good morning. It's an encroachment of someone's personal space. We may be on the internet but it has very similar rules of behaviour. So... depends on context. |

In many cases blocking online is about setting boundaries . Seldom are manners a consideration in the process .
Chin up and carry on |

"Be Nice"
Famous Last Words Series, Entry #214 With all the "female" spammers and scammers, I feel this quotation from President Whitmore in Independence Day truly applies to them, and I do it often: (with grim emotion) "Nuke 'em. Let's nuke the bastards!" |

Welllllll.....I'ma going to explain this about your WTF moment
1 this person has been contacted before by a man/ woman ( no siree I'm not leaving anyone out) and replied back that sorry ( or not lol) they weren't interested they got slammed back by some pretty nasty words, now this has never happened to me but it has to friends of mine 2 they just don't reply to the man/ woman and yup you guessed they get slammed with a nasty reply which usually begins with *#&$' who do you think you are or some version of that ( I confess yes I have received those) So you see for some people it just easier to block. Kind of passive aggressive but hey! It the internet....so that might be why . So just untwist those britches and carry on |
