that really negative way of thinking .. you know people who play video games professionally earn good chunk of change .. even tournaments have massive price pools LoL 2020 World Championship $2,340,000.00
and plus they are fun to play .. for some reason it feels like you re real sour puss :D

I'm not buying one more battlefield game until they do a 2142 sequel -which they easter-egged way back when. 2142 is still the best bf game -and still has some servers up. Bad Co. 2 is second.

Mechwarrior: Online is free and awesome. (Crytek gave them the Cryengine 2 for free) Never get tired of it -except when on a losing streak and I rage-quit long enough to make a snack. New mechs and variants have actual differences which constantly change the effectiveness of your mech/configuration.

Crysis series are excellent campaign games. Crysis 2 was a bit cartoonish, etc. -the Ceph' were not scary at all -just goofy in look and movement -detracted from any suspense. The rest made up for it in other ways.

Quake II, Half-life series, tomb raider when I feel like slowing down and getting frustrated doing things 100 times.

Hey Tom4Uhere, you should try out Total War: Warhammer I and II. Great game and if you have both they link together into one bigger game (map, units, races, everything). Just an FYI.

The Mass Effect series is may favorite to date. I just love everything about it, the setting, the story, the art style, and the characters and dialoge. Its my favorite story for any genre, book, movie or otherwise.

I also like the Dragon Age games, X-com, Metal Gear, Mechwarrior, No Mans Sky, Skyrim, Mad Max was great and I didnt think it would be but I got it cheap and it turned out super. The Force Unleashed, The Batman Arkham games.

Recently some one loaned me Horizon Zero Dawn and I thought .. what the heck, giant robot animals Ill give it a try, Its now my second fav game of all time after the Mass Effect games, really stellar.

I remember playing an old X-Com demo years ago and loved it but at the time couldn't afford it.

Mass Effect was pretty good, rented it for my X-BBox years ago.

I still have (somewhere) a copy of
Babylon 5 - I Found Her (with the Danger & Opportunity mod)
Its a spaceship sim game.
I should look for it, wonder if this new gaming system will play it right?
It was too much for my system at that time.
