Well..half of your friends statement is true..there ARE alot of people that pretend online(but NOT everyone)..but no online dating isn't for losers..it's for people who are tired of the bar type scene or for people like me who cant get out to go lookin for someone to meet.

I have found both good friends and bf's online...it definitely can work if you are serious about it and about meeting someone in real life...if all you are looking for is to talk...then this is good too...
but honesty is the best policy for ALL to even have friendships!! |

At least on these sites many people get to see you at the click of a mouse. Posting in the forums and people can get an insight of who you are. More than one can say from just meeting someone on the street. I have several friends on here that would be capable of being a match but just the distance alone means they make great friends.

Im not one to say this because my post count isnt that high, but posting more does increase you chances of finding someone. Anyone can just look at a profile. But when reading ones thoughts on certain subjects it can show the real you and thats more attractive than a pic in my opinion.
