Great isn't it! We had a lot of sun here this afternoon, also when I was out for that walk and took the photos. Really nice! :)

Debating if I want to go to the grocery store now, after working 9 hours, or if I want to wait until morning. Only I don't want to go anywhere on my two days off, so it looks like now got the vote, haha.

Sometimes just getting it out of your hair is the best. At least you can then relax as opposed to having that nagging feeling.


OT - watching a movie and pulling cards for another reading

Doing the happy dance. Shopping is done, I can relax the next two days. And I saved $35 at the grocery store between my rewards and coupons, woohoo!

Blondey, I have a medical question for you. Do you know anything about gastric covid? My step mother went to the ER and found out she has a urinary tract infection plus gastric covid. She is home now but I don't think I better go see her for a while. Thoughts?

sorry to hear that poetry . Some people with covid do present with gastric symptoms . The ace2 cells which covid is believed to invade are found in the lungs but also the gastrointestinal tract . Viral shedding has been found in sewerage systems so anyone with an active infection should be treated as infectious . Has she been quarantined or told to self isolate ???

The only thing she told me was that the doctor told her to stay away from people for a while.

that is self isolation. If she has tested positive for covid (regardless of symptoms ) she should have been instructed to self isolate for 14 days and would be retested to assess viral load. They should have also given her instructions on how to prevent dehydration .., importance of hygiene and infection control practices and to represent if her symptoms change. Diarrhoea /vomiting in the elderly can be more worrying .. Especially if she goes on to develop respiratory symptoms or sepsis . If She is on her own and you are worried .. if you have visited her recently or wish to stay with her . You would need to treat yourself as having covid also .in such circumstances you would be considered a close contact and should also be tested . Hope this helps .
