I hate it when you finally get your decor and accessories just right then accidentally activate the Infinite Improbability Drive.
Actually, considering that fictitious device helped point me in the right direction toward understanding the characteristics of a created thing as opposed to an evolved thing (broadest definition). |

what is duck egg colour? It like a soft pale baby blue ,not much use posting a pic as it looks different on different machines and some products have a distinct greenish tinge |

I also don't think it's a colour in the colour wheel. And why duck? A blackbird's eggs are also blue, green-blue, yet your towels aren't called 'blackbird egg'. Kinda funny when you think of it, haha. I got Joy on a few walls. In painting, and in the colour wheel, we call that orange |

A JEWEL undertone??? What the freck does that mean? This is Joy: On the other end of the room I went over it with Ivory White. Did that early last year. I was fed up with the orange and it's a lot lighter now :) But on my desk's side it's still very Joyful, haha. |

my computer room/den was painted deep ocean blue (i liked it dark because i worked nights). loved that room!
once had a living room painted teal with lime green spatters. it was vibrant and alive. i once stained my doors (after stripping them to natural wood grain) with black then clear polyurethane top coat. went well with the deep forest green paint on the walls. in college i rented and painted my room black then painted lil cartoon people partying and having sex in florescent paints. looked awesome in my black light. |

PS at least this whole discussion has clarified what colour towels you now have, haha.
And maybe you'll get inspired and add a few duckling yellow ones to the collection |

I have bought cheap ones made from essentially non-absorbent material. It's just weird.

I have bought cheap ones made from essentially non-absorbent material. It's just weird. Tip: NEVER buy cheap towels. You might as well not have a towel. They don't work. Bummer: expensive towels that feel as if they work don't absorb either, haha. But at least they feel nice and fluffy whereas cheap ones feel like that: cheap. I have 2 new baby pink and 2 new mint towels. None of them dries you off. You are sort of dry after 4 attempts, but that is possibly due to natural drying haha. So these pretty new ones eat up precious cupboard space, and I'm back to using old towels that work. |
