my parents want me to settle down and marry some nice Jewish doctor, but I have other plans! they wont get off my case!

Marying the Jewish doctor offers financial security, but it may also offer a rocky relationship since doctors (not just Jewish ones) work a lot of hours and invest of lot of themselves in their work...

I guess growing up, you find out - black and white decisions are a luxury you don't get often (if at all) - So many are a choice between or amongst bad options...

my grand father was a doc, and my g~ma was a nurse. but, im becoming a lawyer, im here on a scholarship, so I dont need the support financially. I dont like him though1 I've always been a supporter of true love though!

no, I dont know! my parents are classic Jewish people! they go to services and all that! and they were mean to all non jewish boys I have brought home. I now dont bring them home.
