On the first day of his presidency Joe Biden issued an executive order canceling the Keystone XL pipeline. It's his 1st accomplishment and the result is obvious. Average crude oil prices since Biden's election. November 30, 2020 42.30 December 31, 2020 48.73 January 31, 2021 53.60 February 28, 2021 60.46 Today March 5, 2021 as I'm posting 65.96 W.r.t. above post by SA John in B's Accomplishments' thread A month ago at $60 / barrel - gasoline was at $2.5 / gallon (regular) Update: 16 March, 2021 = $69 + and gasoline at $2.88 / gallon “Further price strength is very feasible,” Tamas Varga, an analyst at PVM Oil Associates Ltd., told Bloomberg. An increase to $80 later this year “has now become more than just wishful thinking" In other words, $3 / gallon unless of course Biden is planning to lift the sanctions on Iran |

An increase to $80 later this year “has now become more than just wishful thinking" In other words, $3 / gallon unless of course Biden is planning to lift the sanctions on Iran US sanctions have had an impact on Iranian oil but Iran has been using tanker to tanker transfer of oil bound fr China to get around US sanctions. From a Jan. 21, 2021 article headlined "Indonesia Seizes Iranian Tanker For Illegal Ship-To-Ship Oil Transfer"....."Iranian vessels in several cases have reportedly transferred their crude oil cargos to other tankers in waters near Malaysia and Indonesia to cover up the source of the shipments. The shipments eventually went to China disguised as exports from Malaysia and other countries." How many transfer of oil went undetected??? Is China to be trusted in the reporting of who they actually get oil from??? And then there is the fact that Iran is still an "OPEC Member Country" which give them a voice in the supply and by by extension the price of oil. IMO the Biden policy will lead to the US from being a net exporter of energy to an importer of energy and that gives OPEC a greater ability to increase oil prices by reducing the supply line. |

$15 minimum wage is a promise that Biden must surely give up. As Forbes mentioned in an interview, it would have a ripple effect on the economy – devastating inflation. Employees earning $15 would have to be paid $22.50 and so on.
It may not matter as much if taxes are raised on those earning 400k and above; 10 million migrants enter the US in the next four years; SS taxes are raised and additional welfare $ provided to single mothers, college students and so on. Just by increasing min wage the cost of American products would go up by 10% overnight making imports attractive Small biz that forms more than 50% of GDP will be the first effected. To feel their pain here is an old anecdote from the the Iowa Wage and Hour Department (you may’ve read this before) The Iowa Wage and Hour Department claimed a man owning a small farm was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent to interview him. "I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them," demanded the agent. "Well, there are my hired hands. One has been with me for four years; the other for three. I pay them each $600 a week, plus free room and board. The cook has been here for 18 months, and I pay her $500 a month plus free room and board. Then there's the half-wit that works here about 18 hours a day. He takes home $10 a week and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every week," replied the farmer. "That's the guy I want to talk to; the half-wit," said the agent. The farmer said, "That would be me." |

I don't think Biden chose Harris. Not sure if he is really capable of making decision on his own. This was undoubtedly the act of the democratic party and Biden took credit. Insightful. Bet on line is giving the following odds on Kamala taking over. What year will Kamala Harris become US President? 2021 +200 2022 +400 2023 +350 2024 +350 2025 +350 |

wow, so many threads here it's hard to keep track. Not to discredit the painful & real history of African Americans and slavery -- but you don't have to go too far into history books to find that Asians were also subject to slavery. Start with the history of how mines and railroads were developed and built in North America.

never heard about reparations till obama came along...any country on earth do reparations? probably not. i'm really getting to hate the globalistic , atheistic, democrat agenda these days...trump was the only nonglobalist we had in a while....
heard a black guy yesterday call himself a trumplican...very ironic but i agree if u take trump out of the mix we're back to both party being globalists.. i used to work for greyhound i can tell you there are a lot of homeless in america and now we are going to add millions maybe of new illegals on top of that during a lockdown....very smart....not...seems like the dems just want to see how much of a mess they can make of america in my opinion... hidden agenda probable, making it easier for us to fit into THE NEW WORLD ORDER ANOTHER THING===id's republicans want voters to show ids....which evidently is similar to yanking out someone's eyeball or screwing their wife or some other heinous thing....oh yes no id please...just another example of how to ruin a country...i know it might be unfair to illegals or people who can't scrounge up 20 dollars for an id but who can't find 20 dollars? illegals will be given a hotel room and a stimulus check...if they are smart they will get an id and have their address as the ritz carlton or whatever. |

Soft lessons from Biden for future presidents
1 .Appoint a ruthless Vice President whom people will hate more than you 2. Give the Vice President dirty jobs – like Border Wall (Pence was useless on managing Covid) 3. Appoint a former press reporter as press secretary (preferably a long winded idiot with a soulful face) 4. Don’t rush into press conferences. Once in 3 months is okay 5. Demand questions before PC. Any follow up questions – laugh them off There are other lessons – hard to tell and swallow. So closing with an easy one. ‘Promise lunch after the press conferences’ wow, so many threads here it's hard to keep track. Not to discredit the painful & real history of African Americans and slavery -- but you don't have to go too far into history books to find that Asians were also subject to slavery. Start with the history of how mines and railroads were developed and built in North America.
this thread was started in jest. Some truths retold as jest. |

North Korea launched second missile within a week Biden wants to form a coalition with Russia [and China] to stop NK. This, right after slamming Putin as a 'killer'and announcing a tech race against China's growth. “The exchange of a verbal message between the Chinese and North Korean leader on Monday showed that both sides want to strengthen the relationship. “North Korea needs the support of countries like China and Russia to circumvent international sanctions. As China faces harsher criticism from the whole western world, it is intrinsically motivated to seek international support, and North Korea has seized this chance to support China in areas where it has been criticized.” -- JAMES KIM, SENIOR FELLOW AT ASIAN INSTITUTE FOR POLICY STUDIES, SEOUL as quoted in Nippon News With so many domestic priorities it's a legitimate concern whether Biden is up to multi-tasking. High time Kamala takes a hand. |

Why is he exposing himself to sports and celebrity issues?
Anyway, here is Putin's response to the 'killer' remark. Russia is sending trains filled with tanks and military vehicles into Crimea. Secretary of State Antony Blinken reaffirmed the United States' 'unwavering support' for Kiev as tensions continue to escalate with Moscow. An extremely sad day in Europe. |

China has, after the Alaska meet, got Biden nervous
U.S. officials worry China sees the U.S. in a long-term state of decline and will act accordingly, and perhaps recklessly, as a result. - Wall St. Journal As per the Journal, to head off this impression, Biden, in his address soon after the Alaska meet, announced the 2.3 trillion infrastructure program! When President Biden unveiled the plan, he mentioned China six times, including this reference: “That’s what competition between America and China and the rest of the world is all about. It’s a basic question: Can democracies still deliver for their people?” |

Biden says military readiness and national security depends on the well-being of military families. "So much of a ship's power is unseen beneath the waves: the engines, the anchor, the rudders that give it direction and purpose," Biden plans to say during the virtual meeting. "You are the rudder that steers our military, and supporting your physical, social and emotional health is a national security imperative." - Jill Biden "close to her heart for years: making sure military and veteran families, caregivers and survivors get the support they need." Is this a signal of something under wraps(?) because the last war with any significant causalities was the Vietnam War - ended in 1975. |

I put this out there, people are unaware of this and not sure if this goes anywhere
But when trump first ran and got elected well few days after there was marches all over the united states. They were organized by guess who. Yup adds on craiglist. The oldest party around was paying them 15 an hour to march against trump. the add said we will show you to organize marches etc and of course people fell for it. type in trump and craigslist, all over the net back then, but not one thing mentioned on the news. I am sure the democrats were behind this. that was when i first became aware of the dems. |

In the news, Syria fires missile at Israel and Israel retaliates.
Why now? Because lessons from the World after Trump: Russia amassing troops at Ukraine border (Crimean region) Myanmar military coup - no reaction from World Chinese delegation battering US team in Alaska, 'Where is the our 1.1 Trillion in Treasury Bills?' Biden response: Infrastructure - in other words, 'infra by China', i.e., Make China Great Again Remember Trump's response to China? |
|
|
|
To assist Biden in his 1 trillion infra plan I suggest the following:
Sell existing road *** rail bridges to countries like India. We could dismantle them, ship, heat treat the steel and re-erect on locations of our choice. For example the Golden Gate could connect Sri Lanka to India. Amtrak with their elevated track sections could go to Saudi Arabia. KSA has been struggling to link their East and West coasts over the dessert. There maybe a lot of bidders for Disney Land. So I leave this open. US could accrue 20 billion from these sales and it will certainly be a change from the usual shipment of used fighter jets sold to these countries not to mention reduced carbon emission and promotion of world peace. |
