You are only looking for someone within 50 miles, not a zillion miles. Something about about politics could be off putting to some.

Agree- but rather cull them instantly than waste time typing & typing to finally have the first conversation and listen to some apoplectic diatribe that abruptly ends

Your profile is good and I only have 3 things to question on. First, you seem like an intelligent fellow so I would definitely correct the spelling in your topic heading, profiel? That is minor but probably enough to drive some away since it is the first thing people in the forums see. Secondly, 13 posts in 6 years? You need to be more active, at least in the forums since that is where the real people are. Thirdly, you say the female should be within 50 miles of your location? It is possible that there are very few and maybe no females that are within 50 miles of you that visit Mingle2. I would expand that. It is entirely possible that there is the perfect match for you that lives 55 miles from you but cannot message you because of the 50 mile limitation.
