Please Lord...
Someday I ask...
To have my desires of my heart come to light.
To find that one who loves me, who holds me, cares about me.
Who knows when to have fun...and when to be serious...
and when to be both.

My heart's desire...
To be loved and to love...
To experience it by touch, sight, sound...through all the senses
To know without words that he loves me...
But to hear those words whisper in my ear in the morning as I snuggle against him...

My heart's desire...
To have that love and I create another to love between us
To have my stomach swell with life inside
My love's hands holding us gently but tightly
Protecting us

To have that life be born
To see my Love hold our love in his arms...
as he sleeps and that precious child sleeps sounding, trusting his or her daddy with her tiny little heart...
Because that hand that protected me
That loved me
That works hard to help provide for us
Also holds protectively our child....our love

This is all I want
A simple life
With all its complications
In this I pray to you
My Lord
For I dream of this
I have always desired it
Please Lord
Someday
Possibly sooner rather than later
I ask for my prayers to be answered
Maybe...

Why thank you, it was inspired as I was posting a reply to your prayer/poem...the first 'paragraph/stanza' was originally typed there but then I realized I was going to go a little far into it and continued it here instead...Its how I've always felt....I desire it, dream it...

and spirit...its something I've always thought...JSH just helped me finally get it into words...its one of the first poetry piece I've written in awhile...I posted another one awhile ago but it was back from when I was in high school...its been basically that long...not since I've written...for I do that all the time...but since I've created a poem that means so much to me....I'm glad you guys liked it...
