Well, there won't be any clear skies tonight unless a miracle happens. It's been grey and overcast all day and it still is. It's raining now even.

Storms here,
Glad I got to see the almost full moon this morning, cause I'm not sure I will early tomorrow |

Oh yes, storms. Dang. I have to go out to put at least 1 strap around the gates. Heavy gusts expected of up to 9Bft. Great... I hadn't planned to go outdoors anymore, it's raining and getting dark. boohoo....

I didn't get to see the eclipse, but saw the moon just after rising. It was absolutely beautiful, a yellowish color. Then a couple hours before it was fully full I was able to see it and either Jupiter or Saturn. I couldn't see the whole triangle because of the trees being in the way.

That sounds good! So you managed to stay up or set the alarm? "
I wasn't able to see anything. Too cloudy :( |

It's still the 5th in australia, 9;20 pm here now, and I went outside, saw the full moon, but looks like no eclipse here because the angles aren't right. In a couple hours the sun may be in position but the moon will have moved.
Maybe it's only a northern hemisphere eclipse. It's definitely full, and so am I, just had dinner. |

Very well possible it was only visible on the northern hemisphere. I believe the moon was full around 2.30pm Sydney time. |
