Can anyone here give me the definition of a strong man. I have been having a lot of thoughts about it. I need answers please

Strength can refer to physical strength, mental strength or emotional strength. True strength lies in a combo of these and knowing which one is needed more in a situation.

My father was a strong man. I miss him so much. He lived in a time when men were head of household. He handled all the problems. Discipline consisted of saying what wrong was done and it best not happen again. No threats or punishment - but we knew well enough to never do that wrong again. We went to church every Sunday. He spent time with my mother and alone with us kids. He never missed a day of work. I never heard one swear word from him even when he was disappointed or angry. He handled each situation better than swearing. He could explain in a few words why he believed in something, and caused me to believe also. He did not drink alcohol or smoke. He was gentle with animals, which carried over to gentleness with his family. My mother had 68 good years with him as her husband. Again, he was a strong man.

To me a strong man can handle himself and life on every level. He works through his issues so he recovers from whatever and comes back to a state of joy & happiness. He's able to really communicate, meaning listen with an open heart and also express his own feelings.
He is able to balance the head (mental, ego) with the heart because he knows his worth and believes in himself. He's confident and exudes a warm energy as he doesn't have to rely on ego chit and macho behaviour (which IS ego chit) to pretend to be strong. No need for that as he's empowered from the inside out.

A strong man is someone who deals with life and it's problems head on and can adapt to anything it throws at him too. All the while still being a decent man and caring to those around him. He may be hurting inside, but he doesn't take his frustrations out on anybody either. Cross him though and he'll stand up and be counted, as he's nobodies fool!

To me,a strong man is the quiet type. His actions prove his words everytime. He's not a bully and never needs to prove himself. He's independent and free..x

He's Confident, considerate, hardworking and keeps his ego in check!

A strong man is someone who would never dream of asking total strangers for advice

He never gives up and always bounces back

Not Arrogant!

A man who listens to his wife.

A man with great strength... he would be able to lift 100 pounds or more, easily.

A strong man is one who stays true to his values and convictions even during difficult times or unpopular judgement. I admire my father for this.

A strong man is humble and will never say he is strong nor will he physically try to prove his strength, a strong man makes sure everyone surrounding him within his personal circle is taken care of and never in harm's way, a strong man can admit when he is wrong and ask for help when he needs it, a strong man can cry in front of those he trusts because they know he's strong and he needs not to prove it. Everyman that claims or boasts about his strength and how strong he is, is only wearing a mask to hide his weaknesses. ... Of course That's only my personal opinion and answer to this topic
