I stumbled upon really great hiking boots the other day when looking for sneakers, and would've bought them, but they had sold out in my size :(
Your post reminded me of it, and checking to see if maybe they're available again now.
Especially now that I'm thinking of maybe next year going to... Scotland!!! Not sure yet, but it looks like it just might be possible!

OT - working on a personal reading, having a short break.

Hope it’s a possibility happy

How is the virus in Scotland Di?

It’s waning and there will be more restrictions lifted as from tomorrow.

There have been no coronavirus deaths in my town but there have been in my county.

Me too!! I won't be able to go for like 3-4 weeks, but if I can have 1-2 weeks to begin with, I'm happy! Transport is the biggest issue. Renting a car will likely cost a bomb, and I don't see myself driving a UK car on the wrong side of the road either. I've done that once but that was in my own car so at least shifting gears wasn't distracting.
Meaning if / when I go I will have to rely on public transport.
But we'll see. It ain't 2021 yet, hihi.

Sounds good.

I agree, renting a car will be expensive and public transport is far from reliable here unfortunately

I keep hearing that from UK people. Funny thing is, I've used public transport when I went to Portsmouth and I didn't have any problems really? That was in 2001 I think (dang time flies!!!), so maybe it got worse?
It's crap in my remote area too, plus PT is ridiculously expensive.

I thought Scotland was doing quite well, especially compared to England.

I suppose the English are so PO about that that they say they cannot mention Scottish numbers on the site as the Scottish government isn't up to date with their data laugh laugh
Sounds better for them than saying you are doing much better I guess tongue2

Cleaned the loo, went for a walk, poured boiling water over some weed, and now it's enough for one day.
I am allowed to move, should move even, but I notice my bruised ribs & intercostal muscles don't like bending, turning and moving a lot.

Yes I did, a really bad one at that. I tripped over the washing basket when I wanted to step over it and landed with my ribs against the corner of the kitchen block. I do not recommend that, hihi.
It'll heal, but it will take another couple of weeks to a month.

Making a return label for the tiara I just got. It's beautiful but heavy and is way too pokey on my head. ohwell

I got a crown a few years ago and was shocked to find out how heavy it was! Don't go for a crown though, as it's quite tricky to get it to stay put on your head. Mine is now shining up my bedroom, haha.
