Falling in love is wonderful. We met after 7 months. And being apart can be healthy, because you actually have to talk before the meeting and before the physical takes place. When I met him at the airport, I knew everything about him mostly. He swaggered in, smiled and we just melted.
Compatibility helps. Once someone said to us "You are the same". We liked the same things, we both wrote poetry, could hold intelligent conversations, so we meshed well.
It is a huge gamble, but when you fit with each other, you simply fit. :hugging::heart:
But also be wary, distance can hide important things too...as I found out.
Yet I regret nothing :boom:

.

Thank you for sharing your story. smile2 I guess nothing is permanent, everything comes to an end eventually.

Look...anyone who tells you that meeting someone via online dating, and then meeting that person, and then falling for them isn't possible is just lying to themselves. It happened to me a long time back and while it ended, I can say that the time I spent with that lady is a testament that this can work. I also know people who met on a dating site, lived miles apart, and made it work.

And now that we are practicing social distancing, I believe that relationships that start off via the written word will become more prevalent.

yea i do.. been in 3 LDR..
the distance is never a problem at all.
my first relationship happened to be the father of my child but he died.
the second one, it failed to last due to jealousy (which is common to most relationships)
the last one, age gap. he's too childish.

It is possible to find love on the Internet.
It all depends on the Individual's concerned, Your ability to have an Open Mind, Expecting the best and being Positive.

Of course it's possible! Most things are possible if you believe in it, and have a true desire and willingness to make it happen.

no I don't think so, because most of the people that run into on this site here are totally FAKE

I think it depends on how honest the 2 person are and if that is what they really want !!
Because lots say something just to get what they want. But if the 2 involved are honest about who they are and what they truly want, yes I guess it is possible!!!

If i have been communicating with someone and I ask him to talk on video chat and he absolutely wont do it and comes out with all kinds of excuses all the time, then nope, its not good
