Um, zoos and aquariums are not wildlife.
Hike into the mountains, go whale watching/SCUBA diving, go on a safari or a jungle excursion. Then you might see wildlife |

I gave up the wild life years ago.

I'd love to go to Africa and see all these beautiful animals for real in their natural habitat! For some reason I'm particularly interested in seeing giraffes, and also lions. Elephants would be interesting as well, but having seen how suddenly they can get angry... I'd like to keep a safe distance, haha.

Thinking of the woman several years ago in the park whose face was torn to pieces by the wild tiger and escaped for a life just bc she stepped out of the car for a minute

'Wildlife' reminds me of my dad's allotment (land given to residents to grow food etc). He had a pair of geese that were very territorial towards anyone but him. They used to let me get far enough inside to make their chase back to the entrance gate interesting .

Please - define "wild life".
But if you are unable to do so, why did you start this thread in the first place? Whale watching is not done in the wild, except by boat. Although "whale watchers" who pay to join a charter group to be dropped off to swim with whales is a thing. There have been documented incidents of charter boats dropping off whale swimmers, and not coming back for the gullible people. If you have to see animals that are not in a book, go to a zoo. Where you can see animals that have been in captivity for most of their lives, that are no longer fit for re-release. But doomed to a peaceful existence of being tormented by teens and bumpkins on bad days and their caretaker forgetting to feed them. Here in Frisco, there are "wild things" in the "wild" that live outside, not in cages. Downtown there are vermin like mouseys, rats, seagulls, pidgeons, bugs, and bums in the streets, and bicycle hijackers. In the outer neighborhoods there are coyotes, raccoons, possums, giant rats, a handful of feral cats, stray cats and a lot of homeless people. But if you have to go into the "real" wild places that fyi are endangered because of human encroachment of civilization, pollution and industrialization. Go right ahead and get yourself eaten by an innocent wild panther, tigger, wolf, or shark - for intruding upon their own dwindling privacy and habitat. |

I like to wear camo and quietly, slowly creep through the bushland, on windy days, going up wind, when the birds warnings are muted by the wind. So some animals can be observed / surprised up close. It can be funny.
No large land predators in australia, except humans, so I don't have to worry about being eaten. Unless I come across some dogging. |

I kinda like watching wild animals chase people.. Always good for a laugh. Mingle needs to implement a LIKE system for posts just like this... If I want to watch the wild life, I just have to go out and sit on the porch around sunset...That's when most of the animals come out of the woods to play... |
